Rules and Regulations for Membership at FlyCaribbeanVA .

1) General Requirements

1.1) With your registration in FlyCaribbean VA you accept that all information, you state, will remain in our system.
1.2) The pilot must be over the age of 16.
1.3) The pilot must submit their real identity and a valid e-mail address. We will only use these to contact members of the FlyCaribbeanVA and will not passed through to third parties.
1.4) In the case of abuse of our rules and/or the general rules of the networks, you may be suspended
1.5) The FlyCaribbeanVA Management Team has the right to make changes to these rules without notice and has the right to implement changes at any time they choose.
1.6) The membership of FlyCaribbean VA is free.

2) Flying Activity

2.1) You have to fly online on IVAO or VATSIM network or offline.
2.2) During your flights, you have to use an aircraft from the fleet of our company or partner companies.
2.3) The pilot must be in possession of a legal version of Flight Simulator FS9, FSX, P3D or X-Plane.
2.4) If you are flying online, you must follow the online network's Rules & Regulations and comply with during online activity.
2.5) Time acceleration, pause flight more than one minute, away from keyboard more than one hour is prohibited.

3) Pilot Report (PIREP)

3.1) The only allowed logging client for FlyCaribbeanVA is the smartCARS client available in the download section.
3.2) If you report your PIREP with the manual PIREP system, you must provide the link of the tracker website which proves your flight and the reason, why you use the manual PIREP, in the comment field.
3.3) For different ACARS software than smartCARS for Linux or Mac users please contact the staff.
3.4) PIREPs that indicate you have changed the Simulation Rate to more than 1x will be rejected.
3.5) PIREPs that have a landing rate greater than -1000 ft/min will be rejected.
3.6) PIREPs that indicate you have paused the simulator during flight will be rejected.

4) Minimum Activity

4.1) New pilots have to send a valid pirep within 2 weeks after their registration is approved. If a pilot has not send a valid pirep within these 2 weeks, we will send an email and set the status to inactive.
4.2) Pilots should submit a valid pirep at least every 2 months. If a pilot has not send a valid pirep within 2 months, we will send an email and set the status to inactive.
4.3) If the status has been changed to inactive, the pilot has 2 weeks to file a valid pirep. After these 2 weeks the account will be deleted.
4.4) If you know you won't be abe to fly for a long period, you can send an email to the staff to set your account in vacation-mode. This can be for a maximum of 6 months.

5) Staff rules

5.1) Staffmembers have to file a valid pirep at least once a month. If a staffmember hasn't filed a valid pirep for 1 month, his/her status will be changed to member.
5.2) To become a part of the staff, pilots need to be registered at least 2 months, have filed at least 2 valid pireps and must be active on the forum.
